Arriving to Budapest
Beside the obvious option of arriving by plane, Budapest is easily accessible by car and also by train. Delegates arriving from the neighbouring countries are encouraged to take these options into consideration when planning their journey.
Upon arriving at Budapest Airport Ferihegy you shall take Főtaxi, the official airport taxi company. The taxi charge from the airport to the congress venue and to the official congress hotels will cost cca. 21 EUR. For any taxi trip made within Budapest, it is recommended to use taxis affiliated with taxi companies or ask for a taxi at your hotel reception.
b.) Airport minibus shuttle
The price for the Airport Minibus Service from the airport to the congress venue and the official congress hotels is about 14 EUR (return ticket is 25 EUR). Passengers travelling in the same direction are transported by one bus therefore you may be requested to wait for 5-10 minutes at the airport before departure. For your hotel – airport transfer, your hotel reception will ask the minibus service depending on your flight departure time.
c.) Public transport
Take bus 200E at the airport and take off at the terminal, ‘Kőbánya-Kispest’. There you take the underground (blue line) that takes you directly to the closest underground station from the congress venue (‘Klinikák’). It is highly recommended to use the public transport system once you are in the city. The fastest and most convenient public transport means is the underground. The congress venue is located only 250 metres walking distance from the underground station ‘Klinikák’. In case you arrive to Budapest by car, we suggest you leave your car in your hotel parking and discover the city by public transport.
